Forms Authentication Configuration & Membership Provider Management

When setting up forms authentication for a web application the usual step, after configuring the authentication provider in the web application settings, is to modify your web.config. Using the features available in SPDAT you no longer need to do this, or even leave Central Administration. Simply click on the Membership and Role Providers link in Central Administration >> Application Management

The page allows selection of a web application in the right hand side of the toolbar, if the web application (or any extensions) allow forms authentication then it will be displayed.
